I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT OR SOLD A HOUSE BEFORE, HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?
When we begin our working relationship, I will outline the process in detail and make sure that you have clear communication throughout the process from myself and my team. We don't just manage a transaction, we create an EXPERIENCE. We are committed to you and will continue to educate you so you feel as comfortable as you can throughout the process.
At the closing of the transaction, our job DOES NOT STOP! We will continue to communicate with you and be a resource as much as you need.
We have a group of individuals we work with on the daily that can help while you transition. People like HVAC, Tree Trimmers, House Keepers, Painters, Contractors, and so many more.

DO I NEED A REAL ESTATE LAWYER AS WELL?
You are welcome to work with whomever you would like! If you feel it is beneficial to contact a lawyer, we can certainly recommend one. Michigan is a title state. That means we work with title companies. The title company performs as a neutral third-party loan signing agent is hired for mortgage closings.
On closing day, the ownership of the property is transferred to the buyer. The buyer and the seller will each receiving a closing statement that contains all the fees charged to the buyer and the seller. The buyer will deposit funds with the title company that will then be transferred to the seller to purchase the property. The seller will also sign a deed to transfer title to the buyer. Finally, the title company will issue a title policy that will provide insurance against potential claims against title.
HOW WILL YOU FIND POTENTIAL BUYERS FOR MY PROPERTY?
First things first, I will advise you on how to make your property appeal and finance to the most buyers looking. This could mean recommendations like paint, flooring, staging, decorating, decluttering and more. I want to make sure that when people are looking at your home, either online or in person, they can see themselves there.
I am a member of GKAR (Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors) which is a cooperative association. Any licensed agent, can show a home I put up for sale. I have a whole system dedicated to showings that will inform you of who is coming and when.
We have a parent system, FlexMLS, that when I input the details of your home, it will populate to THOUSANDS of websites that people are searching including the popular ones like
Zillow, Realtor and Trulia.
I also have a LOT of social media currency! I can turn my friends and sphere into marketers for your home! I will work tirelessly to reverse market your home to find a buyer that brings you the right terms, conditions and price to purchase your home.
HOW WILL YOU FIND THE RIGHT HOME FOR ME?
The first thing I like to do is to have you talk to a lender to know what MONEY we are talking about.
I don't really care HOW MUCH you can afford, I care mostly about what is COMFORTABLE
for you to afford. We can chat about the difference.
From there, we do a needs analysis. What do you want VS what you NEED! Buying a home is all about compromise. No home is perfect and we need to establish what are your nonnegotiable items so we can focus our search on that.
Once we determine what you want in a home, I will set up a portal and search for you on my system so you can get notifications ASAP when a home meets your criteria. I also encourage my clients to look on all the programs - Zillow, Realtor.com, etc. You may find something that peeks your interest and maybe for some reason I didn't see it or dismissed it. Teamwork will find your home.
Additionally, as mentioned above, I have a LOT of contacts and social media currency so I will tap into all my resources to find you your "dream" home.
